Math 7 & Math Lab

Welcome!

 

Working as a teacher is such a privilege and honor, and even more so to the students at Baldwin Park- Olive Middle School. My goal as a Math 7 teacher is to ensure that students are successful not only in their current class, but prepared for 8th grade math and beyond. Students in my class are always expected to follow their class routines, be prepared, and have a willingness to learn. Some days are harder than others for students, but I always root for students to give their best effort every single day. As each student enters my classroom doors, my goal is for them to feel comfortable so they are motivated and ready to learn in math class. 

 

Students enrolled in math lab have the privilege to learn remedial math skills while staying ahead of the math 7 streamlined course. They receive extra math strategies that they otherwise may not be exposed to in math 7. The goal for my students is to have them gain confidence so their math foundational skills are well equipped for their future years of math.
